ABOUT ME
My name is Alexis Cruzado Pérez. I design caustic and ironic digital illustrations conceived to unleash a visual orgasm and a boost of self-esteem in yourself through cheeky yet thoughtful artworks. I create short scrolling stories about love, work, loss, memory and pleasure, first-person stories which talk about life experiences we all share. I write poetry and reflections on art, culture, technology and politics in the form of live visuals made to enhance the message of electronic music projects. But, most of all, I enjoy myself lots like a kid, controlling all of this analogue-digital chaos through randomness, chance and serendipity. That's why I work concealed behind a moniker which is a childish onomatopoeia.

STATEMENT
AGAINST WYSIWYG
I am against the tyranny of WYSIWYG, as well as both the academic disregard for odd PS / AI / AE filters and the general respect for laying typography properly onto the digital canvas, the which I consider to be nothing else but a bidimensional digital playground where to mess around with the XYZ parameters that render the illusion of a physical reality.
The desire to find an unexpected glitch, the inspiring error which opens one and a thousand doors: that is my goal, so that I can enjoy (and make everyone enjoy) the results of my creative process, a form of pseudo-generative development carried out with softwares usually run methodically to achieve objective results, but which I operate with creative intuition and anarchy.
